Karnataka is a rich land with a collage of multiple cultural and literary itineraries. Nudisiri is Dr. Alva’s attempt at plucking a select few of them each year to be displayed to a large section of audience who are fast losing touch with the soil of their birth. It also provides a forum to invite the writers and other artists, activists to present papers, discuss, and share their views and to educate the lovers of Kannada literature. Dr. Alva’s contribution to the field of Kannada literature and cultural heritage has been recognized and aptly honored with Karnataka Rajyotsava award in the year 2006. |
